What to expect
Consultation
We assess your face as a whole, take a medical history and agree a natural looking plan for the areas that concern you.
Prepare and numb
The skin is cleansed and made comfortable with numbing cream and filler that contains anaesthetic.
Precise placement
Filler is placed to support the fold or line, refining the area gradually and checking balance as we go.
Review and settle
We review the result together. Any swelling settles over the following days to reveal the final look.
Aftercare
Looking after your treatment
- Expect some swelling, tenderness and possible bruising for a few days. This is normal.
- Avoid strenuous exercise, heat, saunas and alcohol for 24 to 48 hours.
- Keep the area clean and avoid make up on it for the first day.
- Do not massage or press the treated areas, and stay hydrated.
- Contact the clinic straight away if you have any concerns after your treatment.
